CD Release Billboard Poster

Most album releases have advertising prior to the release in order to promote the album and to generate buzz to get people excited and talking about it to encourage more people to buy it when it comes out.

Advertising can come in many different forms such as an advert, computer banner, posters, magazine and newspaper adverts and billboards.

I have decided to create a promotional billboard advertisement as part of my DigiPak.

I have used the same image I used on the CD cover to create consistency throughout the DigiPak, this would also allow the audience to connect the two together with the similarity.

I have also used the same text as on the CD cover but on a much larger scale again for the same reasons.

I have added the date of the release at the bottom of the billboard poster to show when the album is coming out.

Although the it may seem pretty vague I like that it is simple; I am also basing this off of an idea of people knowing who 'Theo Carter' is as he would be a known singer. Many songs are also pre-released before an album so this would mean that people would know about the release.

CD Spine

This is the Spine for my CD, I made the background in Photoshop using an area of the front cover and stretching it across the background so that it is the same. I made the spine based on a size guide I found online and using the size of the CD cover so that it would be the same height.

I then opened this on PicMonkey and used the same font and colour as I have throughout my DigiPak to show the album title.

I have kept this quite plain so that it is simple but hopefully effective at the same time.
