CD Image

I researched online the dimensions of a CD to make sure I make a CD the correct size.

This is the first draft of the CD as I had considered keeping the CD plain and simple by using the colour of the text I have already used for the background and then using the same font used on the front cover to write 'Theo Carter' over it as if it had been signed.

This is a still image from the music video; I think that it is a really good image as it fits well with the song and would be suitable for the DigiPak. I feel that it would be a shame to not use this image so I am going to edit it to go on the CD.

These are the images I have edited.

This is the edit I like as it is constant with the rest of the images in my DigiPak.

I have put the image into the CD shape.

I have applied the same filter as I have on the others. I am considering blacking out the image as I have with the others.

I have blacked out the image using Photoshop and applied the same Time Machine colour filter again but I feel that it is a bit too strong and is more green than the others.
I have taken off the second layer of the filter and prefer the way that this looks; I am now going to add text.

I am going to use the same font as I did on the front cover for the CD Cover in the same colour; this is the first where the font is smaller.

This one the font is much bigger and spread across most of the top of the CD.

Here I layered a black font over the light green to create a shadow effect but it was harder to see and I didn't like it as much.

I decided I liked the bigger text but felt that it was a little too big so I made it s smaller but so that it could still be seen clearly.

This is my finished CD design.
