Yesterday I filmed for the second time; I used multiple locations to film and was able to get multiple different shot types and angles that will be very useful for me to use when I start to edit my video and put it all together.
I started the filming at a golf club where I was given permission to drive into and film in the car park; these shots will later be used to show the Bride and Groom arriving at the reception venue. Here I recorded the car with Emily and Charlie in it multiple times with each camera to make sure that I had enough footage to be able to chose which I liked later on.
I then filmed Emily and Charlie getting out of the car and walking towards the building, I did this many times from different angles with both cameras to get both up close and further out views.
Information on the cameras and equipment used can be found later on a separate blog post.
From the golf club we then drove to the registry office; I used this time to film inside of the car again with different camera angels including having both of them in the same shot by holding the camera and turning and also up close shots of Emily and Charlie to show a more personal up close shot to review their facial expressions.
When we arrived at the registry office I went inside and met the people there to introduce myself. They were all very helpful and showed me which rooms I was able to use. I then filmed Emily and Charlie leaving the registry office, getting into the car and driving off multiple times before going inside to film in one of the rooms.
I filmed Emily and Charlie leaving the room where the environment they are in implies they've just got married walking out of the door and to the front of the registry office building. This was done multiple times using different camera angles to make sure that I have enough footage to edit later on.
I am now going to start looking back through everything I have filmed to determine which footage I can use then start to put it together in the editing process.
